Welsh Lamb Kidneys | Fresh, Mild & Quick to Cook

Fresh Welsh lamb kidneys with a delicate flavour — perfect for pan-frying in butter, or slow-cooked in a rich gravy. A traditional favourite prized for their mild taste and tender texture when handled properly, they're brilliant for quick suppers, hearty breakfasts alongside bacon, or simmered in a classic kidney casserole.

How to Cook

For the best texture, cook hot and fast: trim if needed, slice in half, season well, then pan-fry in butter for a few minutes each side. Finish with a splash of cream, mustard or Worcestershire sauce for a classic result. Prefer slow cooking? Add to a rich onion gravy and simmer gently until tender.

We pack chilled orders in our insulated plant-based box system with food-safe gel ice packs. The packaging has been laboratory tested to help keep products between 0°C and 8°C for up to 48 hours in warm conditions when the box remains intact.

After Delivery

The cardboard outer box and insulation can be recycled through normal cardboard recycling where accepted locally. Please follow the disposal instructions on the gel ice packs and your local recycling guidance.

If your parcel is delayed, keep the box closed until delivery and check that the contents are still properly chilled when they arrive.
