Bromfields Butchers was founded by Ralph Bromfield, a highly skilled butcher with extensive experience in the wholesale meat trade. From the very beginning, the focus was simple — to provide exceptional quality meat, expertly prepared and supplied with care to those who truly value good food.
Today, the business is proudly run by second-generation butcher Chris Bromfield, who continues the family tradition with a hands-on approach and an unwavering commitment to quality. Alongside his wife Fay, Chris has grown Bromfields to serve customers directly, allowing households across the UK to enjoy our produce through Click & Collect and Chilled Nationwide Delivery.
At its core, Bromfields remains a family-run, independent butcher. We’re proud to work with a close-knit team — many of whom have been with us for years — and we strongly believe in personal service, traditional butchery, and doing things the right way. Looking ahead, we hope our son Alex will one day follow in his father’s footsteps and continue the Bromfields family legacy.
We work closely with trusted suppliers and British farms, carefully selecting our meat for quality, freshness, and flavour. Animal welfare is extremely important to us, and we prioritise sourcing from suppliers whose standards align with our own. We are committed to responsible sourcing, transparency, and ensuring every cut is prepared with care.
