As a family-run Online butcher in Wales, we prepare your order fresh and pack it in temperature-controlled packaging so it stays chilled for up to 48 hours in transit. Your meat arrives safely chilled and ready for the fridge or freezer.

Our courier: DPD Local Next Day

We deliver fresh meat using DPD Local Next Day. Orders are collected from us at 5pm and delivered the next day.

DPD have invested heavily in technology and tracking, helping them provide a reliable service for customers. They’re also working to reduce carbon emissions, including the use of electric vehicles.

Tracking and delivery notifications

We keep you updated at every stage:

From Bromfields

• Order confirmation as soon as you place your order (check your details are correct)

• The day before delivery, we generate your shipping label and pass the details to DPD
  
  

From DPD

• Email/text when DPD receive your parcel

• Delivery-day message with a 1–2 hour time slot

• “Out for delivery” updates

We cannot deliver to:

• Northern Ireland (BT postcodes)

• Islands / isles

Some Scottish postcodes are excluded from Next Day service via DPD.

How your meat is protected

We put the same care into delivery as we do into butchery. Your items are packed on over-wrapped trays or in vacuum pouches to maintain freshness, then placed in a thick-walled recyclable cool box with gel ice packs to keep your order at an optimum temperature during transit. Our boxes are purpose-built for chilled meat and are significantly stronger than standard packaging.

Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please take clear photos before disposing of anything:

• Outside of the box

• Inside packaging

• Any damaged contents

• The shipping label

Then contact us with the photos so we can investigate.

Safe-place deliveries and responsibility after delivery

By placing an order, you accept that DPD drivers may leave parcels in a place they consider safe. Bromfields Butchers cannot be responsible for parcels after they have been delivered.

Important: Once DPD marks the parcel as delivered and a proof-of-delivery photo is available, the security of the parcel becomes your responsibility. In communal entrances/foyers, parcels may be left there — please collect it as soon as you receive your delivery notification.

Minimum order value: £30

• Orders up to £60 — £12.99

• Orders £60 to £100 — £9.99

• Orders £100 to £150 — £4.95

• Orders over £150 — FREE delivery
