Angus & Oink Fruit Wood Chunks

A blend of pear, apple, cherry and plum wood chunks that deliver a light, sweet smoke with beautiful colour — perfect for anyone who wants to add subtle complexity without the boldness of hickory or oak. Fruit wood smoke is gentle enough to let the natural flavour of the meat shine through while adding a delicate sweetness and a rich, golden-mahogany finish.

Best Paired With

  • Poultry — chicken, turkey and duck take on a gorgeous colour and subtle sweetness
  • Pork — ribs, belly and shoulder all benefit from the fruity, mellow smoke
  • Fish — a light touch of fruit wood adds complexity without overpowering delicate flesh

How to Use

  • Charcoal BBQ or smoker: Nestle chunks directly into the hot coals — no soaking needed.
  • Gas grill: Place in a smoker box or wrap in foil with a few holes, then position over a burner.

Wood Flavour Guide

  • Fruit Wood (Pear, Apple, Cherry, Plum) — Light, sweet, great colour. Best for poultry, pork and fish.
  • American Oak — Bold, balanced, versatile. Works with almost anything.
  • Hickory — Punchy, bacon-like smoke. Best for pork, ribs and brisket.

All-natural, untreated and kiln-dried for a clean, food-safe burn. Pack size: 1kg.

Packaging

Packaging

We pack chilled orders in our insulated plant-based box system with food-safe gel ice packs. The packaging has been laboratory tested to help keep products between 0°C and 8°C for up to 48 hours in warm conditions when the box remains intact.

After Delivery

The cardboard outer box and insulation can be recycled through normal cardboard recycling where accepted locally. Please follow the disposal instructions on the gel ice packs and your local recycling guidance.

If your parcel is delayed, keep the box closed until delivery and check that the contents are still properly chilled when they arrive.
