For those who prefer their bacon without the smoke, our unsmoked back bacon lets the quality of the pork speak for itself. Traditionally cured using time-honoured methods, it delivers a clean, mild, gently savoury flavour with a tender texture and a beautiful golden finish in the pan.

Why Unsmoked?

Unsmoked bacon has a purer, more delicate flavour that works brilliantly in dishes where you don't want smoke to dominate — pasta sauces, risottos, quiches and lighter meals all benefit from its subtler profile. It's also the classic choice for those who simply prefer a milder bacon experience at breakfast.

How to Cook

  • Pan-fry over a medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes each side until golden
  • Grill for 3–4 minutes each side for a slightly leaner finish
  • Oven bake at 200°C for 10–12 minutes on a lined tray

We pack chilled orders in our insulated plant-based box system with food-safe gel ice packs. The packaging has been laboratory tested to help keep products between 0°C and 8°C for up to 48 hours in warm conditions when the box remains intact.

After Delivery

The cardboard outer box and insulation can be recycled through normal cardboard recycling where accepted locally. Please follow the disposal instructions on the gel ice packs and your local recycling guidance.

If your parcel is delayed, keep the box closed until delivery and check that the contents are still properly chilled when they arrive.
