How Online Butcher Delivery Works
Ordering fresh meat online is straightforward when the preparation, packaging and delivery process is clear. Here is how a chilled butcher order moves from the counter to your door.
1. Choose your meat and delivery date
Add your products to the basket and select from the delivery dates currently available at checkout. Seasonal products can have separate date rules, particularly around Christmas.
2. Your order is prepared
Products are picked and prepared for your order. Depending on the item, meat may be supplied on trays, overwrapped or vacuum packed where appropriate.
3. Chilled insulated packaging
Orders are placed into insulated packaging with gel ice packs. Bromfields’ packaging is designed to keep products safely chilled for up to 48 hours from dispatch.
4. APC Overnight collection
Our main courier partner is APC Overnight. Tracking information is normally sent by email and/or text after the parcel enters the courier network.
5. Delivery and safe-place handling
Because the parcel contains perishable food, the driver may leave it in a location they consider safe if nobody is available. Customers should monitor tracking and retrieve the parcel promptly once delivered.
Where does Bromfields deliver?
We deliver across our mainland UK delivery area. Northern Ireland, offshore islands and some remote Scottish postcodes are excluded.
For the current postcode exclusions, delivery charges and available delivery days, see Fresh Meat Delivery UK.
