Apparently I am the most fussy man on earth with sausages says the Mrs.. These are absolutely outstanding. I thought that the Marmite sausages would never be beaten .... wrong! Bromfields have done it again Best Sausage Ever ...
These sausages are amazing, I requested if Bromfields could make a pork leek & stilton sausage and Chris was more than happy to oblige. As always nailed it!!! I feel I've become a bit of a sausage connoisseur over the years trying different types from food festivals and from sausage makers online, but I always come back to Bromfields!! Marmite & Cheddar are my favourite but these aren't far behind!

We haven't tasted Sausages like these since the 1970s when every town had several Butchers. Proper Sausages .. Hardky any fat comes out of them, zero gristle, lovely firm texture, nice good thickness . They look like sausages, taste like sausages, smell like sausages, proper sausages at last !
This was the first time that we had ever bought a Turkey Crown and I was concerned that it might end up being too dry ..This was absolutely delicious, for only the 2 of us as much as we love Turkey we had about 3 portions left, I froze it with the gravy which kept the meat lovely and moist. And the bonus we can buy this anytime of the year! Spot On ...
As the title states we thought that we had ordered a different meal. In all honesty we just wanted a couple of meals in the freezer for when we get home late. This was devine we did add extra cheese on top but thats because we do eat a lot of cheese. It was beautiful and IF you think that £7 is a bit expensive...This serves 2 adults have a look at the plastic rubbish that you get in the supermarket for £3.50 ....yes Gulp ,,its good value for the price.
Some of my orders that I now put in are for friends and I understand why some of them are skeptical about buying meat on line BUT at the same time the reviews do speak for themselves. In this pack you get to taste a sausage, Gammon, Rump Steak, Lamb Chop and a Pork Steak... for a sensible price. You really cant go wrong and they are all a sensible size.
Anyone remember the proper Beef Stew that our grandparents used to make? Thats what I made from this cut. I braised the beef with onion shallots, added carrots swede Button Mushrooms. Nice Gravy and left it in the slow cooker for the day and it was tender, tasty and no gristle at all What you see in the picture is what you receive. In all honesty Chris at Bromfields is actually the most honest Butcher Ive ever used What you see is what you receive and his quality is consistent.
I was really skeptical when I bought these because from previous experience with supermarkets and my local butchers you know that theyre going to be as close to their use by date as they can go and they will put these flavourings on them to hide their rather "Going Off Taste"
Not the case here they are as thick if not thicker than what you see in the photo beautiful taste as I lifted them out of the pan the bone fell off and what a taste explosion!! Absolutely delicious.
I cooked these in gravy and put tablespoons of neat mint sauce on the meat that wasn't immersed in gravy. Cooked slowly absolutely delicious, Excellent Value , and the taste is so different to any other lamb. Welsh Lamb is special, tasty, brings back memories from home. Our first order was 2 x packs of these Marmite Sausages and we had a Sausage Fest, Different flavoured sausages were served to define the favourites.. The following order consisted of 11 more packs of Marmite Sausages! A clear winner and not just a family faverate anymore but a Village Faverate, and a clear winner. Not found one person who dislikes them yet. Will never touch supermarket sausages ever again.
Absolutely the very best Rump Steak we have had in several decades. We have had friends over and if they fail to eat it they have to pay for it if they finish it then dinner is on us! The best comment we received was Thats the size of a camel rump and not a cow! Excellent value Please dont change this absolute winner.

Really good thickness and great flavour, amazing when placed between some nice thick white bread, or thrown into a quiche.
