Our free-range pork comes from Kyle & Lauren Holford at Forest Coalpit Farm who raise their own welsh black pigs in the Brecon Beacons national park around five miles from our door. Their pigs are naturally reared in woodland and on pasture, able to forage, root, wallow and express their natural behaviours. Rare breed pigs grow slower and longer, unlike intensively reared animals, giving more intra-muscular fat meaning more flavourful, succulent pork.

      The Welsh Black is a mixture of the traditional Large Black and the Duroc which has a bigger loin eye and epic marbling.
