Black Garlic Flat Rib of Beef/ Short Rib
These flat ribs are marinated overnight in our premium black garlic marinade!! a match made in heaven.
These are one of our personal favourites but they do need to be cooked low and slow not a quick dish but the results are worth waiting for.
Our welsh flat rib comes from the end of the brisket and from the piece often called a ladder.
Slow roasting flat rib brings the best results
Flat ribs are best cooked in a slow cooker, or in your oven on a low heat, with plenty of stock, or even better red wine or dark ale. Cook for a minimum of 3 hours (or longer if using a slow cooker) when it has been cooked long enough the beef will begin to fall away from the bone.
A kilo of flat rib typically contains 2-3 pieces
1kg-1.5kg
